Coca-Cola Chess Set
Designed and machined for the Integrated CAD & Manufacturing class.

Worked alongside three other team members to create a custom chess set inspired by the Coke bottles over the years

Developed design on Solidworks considering constraints for the TL-1
-
Drilled and tapped into pieces before machining in the TL-1 so we would be able to attach bases
-
Created bases were machined to size on the lathe
-
Each side will be anodized in the future for easier distinction between sides
-
For board, used wood CNC to create pocket and press fit laser cut acrylic into the pockets
