Goldfish Paperweight
Designed and machined for the Integrated CAD & Manufacturing class.

Created a paperweight inspired by the Goldfish snack

Learned how to use the MiniMill to create strategic machining for 3D shapes

Created fixturing for both halves using mounting plate
-
Modeled all parts in SolidWorks using a combination of surface and conventional modeling
-
Created two mirrored halves and attached them using a dowel pin
-
Wet-sanded and used the polishing wheel to create a mirrored finish
